Cleaning For Cancer
A Note from the Owner of EcoCleaning Service-
In January of 2011, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. I was 48 years old. The shock of that diagnosis was minor in comparison to what followed in the year of treatment that ensued.
I was always the one who took care of everyone else. It came as quite a shock to realize that I would have to let others take care of me. Friends, family and co-workers were amazingly supportive and were always asking what they could do for me. The one thing I really wanted done, was having my house cleaned. My family was great at keeping things picked up, but it seemed cleaning toilets and scrubbing floors would never get done.
As my treatment went on, my body seemed to become hypersensitive to household chemicals like never before. I began looking for alternative safe products to use. I decided that if I became cured of cancer, I would do something to help people in similar situations so they wouldn't have to worry about trying to keep up on housekeeping duties during their cancer treatments. I want to provide them the benefits of safe cleaning products, which I have found to be the most helpful. If you, or someone you know, is undergoing treatment for cancer, please direct them to my website. This is a FREE service to patients undergoing treatment for cancer and continues to be the reason I started this company.
